
History
The Aviation Educational-scientific institute was founded in 1992 as part of the structure of The Georgian Technical University. In 2005, based on governmental decision, aviation institute separated from Georgian Technical University and received accreditation from ministry of education and sciences of Georgia. It became independent Georgian Aviation University.
